Abstract

Objective: Explore the differences in the perception of primary care in doctors who have completed their SERUMS between 2013 and 2023, according to their sociodemographic characteristics. Methodology: An instrument was applied to a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 101 doctors. The instrument was composed of three sections: informed consent, sociodemographic questions, and the primary care perception questionnaire. After this, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out

and statistically significant differences according to sociodemographic characteristics were examined. Results: Significant differences were obtained according to training university, origin and year of completion of the SERUMS. Conclusion: It is necessary to indicate that health authorities must channel policies and strategies that improve the SERUMS experience from the institutional framework of quality primary care considering the characteristics of the Peruvian doctor.
